Hail Redeemer, King Divine

Not sure why, but I’ve had this in my head all week.

Angels, saints and nations sing,
Praise be Jesus Christ our King
Lord of life, earth, sky and sea,
King of Love on Calvary.

I think it’s a good thing to always keep at the back of your mind. If you’re wondering, it’s from the hymn “Hail Redeemer, King Divine” by Patrick Brennan.

At my church, we sometimes sing it (i.e. just that bit above, not the whole hymn) without music after the consecration as the Body of Christ is raised up. I find it really quite powerful; everyone’s voices united in praising the real presence of Christ.
